February Bulletin
You Tell on Yourself
You tell on yourself by the friends you seek,
By the very manner in which you speak,
By the way you employ your leisure time,
By the use you make of dollar & dime.
You tell on yourself by the things you wear,
By the spirit in which your burdens you bear,
By the type of things at which you laugh,
By the records you play on your phonograph.
You tell what you are by the way you walk,
By the things of which you delight to talk,
By the manner in which you bear defeat,
By so simple a thing as how you eat.
By the books you choose from the library shelf,
By these things and more … you tell on yourself.

If you have a home computer
with Internet access, please consider installing a “filter” if you haven’t
prior to this. We continue to have sad
experiences where parents thought that filtering was not necessary. Go to our church website: http://www.tremontacc.org/
and click on “Links”, then click on “Content Filtration”. After reading the information there, click on
“Next” at the bottom of the page & it will lead you through a simple
sign-up procedure. This is the filter
that myself & a number of others have on our
computers. If you have trouble getting
through this, call me or any of the others in our congregation who have
computer experience. I recognize that a
filter is not perfect, but it will protect your young children & will keep
unwanted things from popping up on your screen.
We still need to treat the Intenet with caution even with a filter.
