July Bulletin
Keep Our Nation In Thy Care
We are faced with many problems
that grow bigger day by day,
And as we seek to solve them in
our self-sufficient way,
We keep drifting into chaos, and
our avarice and greed
Blind us
to the answer that would help us meet our need.
Oh God, renew our spirits and
make us more aware
That our future is dependent on
sacrifice and prayer.
Forgive us our transgressions and
revive our faith and see,
So we may all draw closer to each
other and to Thee.
For when a nation is too proud to
kneel and daily pray,
It will crumble into chaos and
descend into decay.
So stir us with compassion and
raise our standards higher,
And take away our lust for power
and make our one desire
To be a shining symbol of all
that’s great and good
As Thou leads us in our struggle
toward new-found brotherhood.

Family Nights
For some

for possible topics & speakers.
Please contact Bro. Curt or any of the ministers with your suggestions. Thanks!

it would be greatly appreciated if volunteers could come
sit with Vera on Sunday afternoons so Carol can attend church services. If you have any questions, please call Carol
at 678-5956. Thank you for your
willingness to help.

Tips for Keeping an Elder
Overnight
There
have been some questions on what to do when you are keeping an elder or retired
elder overnight during conference week … so, here are some tips!
Just
make them feel welcome! They may or may
not be interested in a snack at night.
And, they may want to get to bed early.
Some will be ready to visit & some will not.
Attached
to this bulletin is a schedule that they will be keeping during the week. Please help them to arrive at the church or

When you
find out which elder or retired elder you will be keeping … it is a good idea
to call them & welcome them as well as find out if they have any food
preferences for breakfast and evening snacks.
Most will prefer that you not prepare a huge breakfast since we will be
sitting all day. If you have any
questions, feel free to call or email me. – Bro. Chuck
