June Bulletin
A Parent’s
Thoughts
What can I give him? These childhood days
To aid him in growing to remember
always?
I can teach him compassion for
each helpless thing.
I can show him that kindness will
make his heart sing.
I can give him the wisdom to know
right from wrong,
Instill in him pleasure in
laughter and song.
I can give him a love that is
deep as the sea,
But still leave him finally
unfettered to me.
And when it is ended … his
childhood’s span,
May my heart know with sureness
I’ve helped make a man.

Family Nights
For some
time we have had Family Night once a month for the first 5 months of the year
& Bro. Curt Rassi has coordinated the speakers. We have tried to have one home minister &
4 visitors. We are seeking your input on
how many months you would like to have Family Night & your suggestions for
possible topics & speakers. Please
contact Bro. Curt or any of the ministers with your suggestions. Thanks!
Volunteer
Since
Vera Aberle’s stroke, her family has been a bit overwhelmed with fixing meals,
etc. They would appreciate help with
main dishes – ex: casseroles, etc. Visitors are also welcome! Also, it would be greatly appreciated if
volunteers could come sit with Vera on Sunday
afternoons so Carol can attend church services!! If you have any questions, please call Carol
at 678-5956. Thank you for your
willingness to help!!
Fathers are wonderful people
too little understood,
And we do not sing their praises
as often as we should.
For, somehow, Father seems to be
the man
who pays all the bills,
While Mother binds up little
hurts
and nurses all our ills.
And perhaps that is the reason
we sometimes get the notion
That Fathers are not subject
to the thing we call emotion.
But if you look inside Dad’s
heart,
where no one else can see,
You’ll find he’s sentimental
and as soft as he can be.
And like our Heavenly Father,
he’s a guardian and guide,
Someone we can count on
to be always on our side.
