March Bulletin

Presence

Somehow I feel God’s presence here, in a garden sprinkled with the dew;

Among the waving tulip cups, where miracles of spring are new.

I see Him in each petal face – in every flower nodding there,

In roses with their sweet perfume wafting on the springtime air.

I find Him in the quiet place, in green spears pushing through the sod;

And in the silence I can feel and hear the gentle voice of God.

Volunteer Needed

Our church is in charge of getting volunteers for car parking & the coat check at the Mennonite Relief Sale in March.  Nelson Koch has been handling this for several years & is ready to hand it off to someone else!  If you would be willing to take over this responsibility, please call Nelson at

267-6627.  Thanks!!

Lost & Found Boxes

Please check the lost & found boxes at church.  They are getting very full.  Also, please check on the shelves by the coat racks for any lost items.

Marching to Zion Books

We ordered the Marching to Zion books back in September & at that time we expected to have them by now.  The process is taking longer than we thought.  The books are in process, but now the estimated availability is around April 1st.

Thank you for your patience!!

Fort Lauderdale Church Remodeling

The Fort Lauderdale Church is about to begin an extensive remodeling & updating of their church facility.  The sanctuary, kitchen, & bathrooms will all be part of this project.  In the sanctuary, the pulpit area will be redone.  The church pews will be removed to allow the old carpet to be removed & new to be installed.  The kitchen area will undergo a complete makeover with the old cabinets & counters being replaced by new.  During the remodeling project, services will be held at the FH adjacent to the church.  Volunteer accommodations will be provided.  This project will begin in early February.  The work is expected to continue through March, April, & into May depending on the amount of labor available.  As the work begins, the focus will be on the removal of the existing features to make way for installation of the new.  Unskilled laborers will provide the man power needed to accomplish this phase.  Carpenter skills will be needed as the project progresses.  The goal is to assemble from 6-10 volunteers to work each day.  A World Relief tool trailer will be on site.  Bro. Bob Huber is the local contact for this project:  954-792-6727, rghuber111@bellsouth.net

Anyone interested in working on this project should contact Bro. Bob to schedule their work time.  May God bless each helping hand.

World Relief Informational Meeting

The Annual World Relief Informational Meeting will be held at the Princeville Fellowship Hall on Saturday, March 14th at 9:00 a.m.  This is an excellent way to learn about some of the many opportunities World Relief has to offer … helping the less fortunate & just to become aware of how our church is helping those around the world.  Please contact Pete & Debbie Aberle if you would like to attend so we can give them a lunch count.  Thanks!
